Constant/continuous Braxton Hicks?

It is Sunday night at 10:30, on Tuesday I will be 37 weeks pregnant. I have had this happen before.. but it's pretty strong now. I have had like.. one constant braxton hicks contraction for a couple of hours now. My belly is sooo tight and it isn't letting up even for a second. I have had it last for two hours before and then go away, but never quite this tight. It does not hurt, is just very uncomfortable. I tried standing... laying on my side... and I just drank a lot of water. This is not dangerous is it? Any tips?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant yesterday I had soft stools almost diarrhea, one at 8:45am then again at 11:00am and I had not ate at all. After that I had the sensation to go again for a while. Last night also was the first time in months that I felt comfortable having sex, but when we tried his penis could not go in at all. I kept trying to force it in but it would go in for anything. Why is that. Also the baby has dropped and I have a little more discharge than usual. Could the baby come soon? I have never gotten braxton hicks but lately a lot of ligament pain and pelvis pain. Also today I did not eat until 6:30pm but I was not hungry at all like I usually am. How soon could the baby come? I no its silly but tomorrow will be 6/20/2011 that is my mothers birthday and she past away. I would love to have my son on that day but I know the odds are slim.

Ok so in class we had to adapt on the bake well tart but, im not very creative. I put chocolate icing or melted chocolate and i put chocolate for the filing and chocolate chips in the sponge. that's sooo strange...I've heard rumours about raspberry leaf tea working to induce labour....but was told that it doesnt necessarily induce labour or contractions, that it just "strengthens" your uterus and makes labour and contractions easier :) But maybe I've heard wrong. I'm 37 1/2 weeks pregnant and besides one or two braxton hicks contractions (completely pain free) over the last week or two I haven't had any contractions. It's been a very easy pregnancy, no morning sickness, no swelling, very little weight gain (it looks like a bball under my shirt!), etc. so I'm wondering if that is a factor. I also don't know if I've dropped yet, it feels like it because I can feel him lower and I can tell a difference in my belly, but people are always commenting that I haven't dropped yet and they say that's usually 3-4 weeks before delivery. I'm due July 14, only 2 1/2 weeks away, but does all this mean I'm probably going to deliver late? I'm just curious

Yesterday I started having cramping and lower back pain. The pain would go all the way down in my vagina. There were some times when I had to stop whatever I was doing for a minute. Now I've been feeling the same today. Im 24 almost 25 weeks pregnant. This is my third child but I never felt braxton hicks with my other two. I was induced and never went into labor either so I'm not sure what they feel like. Tonight my lower back hurts really bad. My question is....is all of this normal or should I be worried? And I don't know if it really makes a difference but the more pain I feel, the more active the baby is. I guess tests a good sign.! Any advice please.

Pregnant and sharp pains in vagina?

bmi is a chart based on standards of people and their height, etc... excursive everyday doesn't mean necessarily go to the gym every day, take the stairs instead of the elevator or walk to work "if plausible" and swimming is an extent form of excursive. height doesn't really matter that much but if you went from "overweight" to "obeise" over 1 inch you should be excersing more because you would have been on the tip of overweight and almost considered obeise. you could have ask your intake nurse to measure your height, they do weight and should be able to do height as well. also meals per day means nothing, i actually tell people to eat several small meals throughout the day to keep you metabolism high and working constantly.

There is a good chance you are farther along than they think you are. I was the same way. I was getting my period for the whole first trimester so I wasnt sure when I conceived. When my daughter was born they thought she was 36 weeks and so they kept stopping my labor and sending me home from the hospital. No matter how many times they tried to stop my labor it kept coming back worse than before. I delivered 4 weeks early (according to them) but when my little girl was born all of the nurses thought she was 38 weeks not 36, so the doctors were off by 2 weeks. If you think you are farther along than the doctors you are probably right. Dont worry, everything will be fine I am sure. Just keep timing your contractions, and when they are consistently 5 minutes apart you are for sure in labor. Good Luck!

Also, if you were to go into early labor, they have medicine to take to stop contractions (they did this to me but i didn't have any underlying health issues and neither did my baby).

Upper abdominal pain at 33 weeks pregnant?

It's very sore and in the middle about 3-4 inches above my belly button. It started when I went on a walk about half an hour ago and I was bent over double in pain. How can I tell if I am going in to labor?

I am 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I had my weekly check up today and felt fine after until about 2 hours ago or so. I have been having on and off cramps and when I recently went to the bathroom and wiped there was some pink blood on the toilet paper. The doctor did check my cervix but that was around 12:30pm and it's now 6:36pm here. She couldn't get to my cervix because of the position of my baby's head she couldn't quite get to it. She said my baby's head is really low. ( my bladder already knows this. haha) Well I have been having tightening in my stomach on and off every few minutes or so. It comes and goes but doesn't fully go away. My whole stomach gets rock hard it's somewhat painful but not really. I was induced with my first pregnancy and the contractions for me weren't bad at all and I barely felt them so this is why I am asking. The baby is still moving. She's always moving it seems. Should I give the doctor a call? Do you think this is just braxton hicks? I was laying down when it all first started and then got up to go to the rest room and do some dishes and it still continued. The last one I felt was at 6:20pm and now it's 6:41pm. I just feel a bit crampy. Like not full cramps but crampy like I am about to start my period. Not painful, just uncomfortable. I don't know how to exactly describe everything I am feeling. There isn't any more blood that I could see. Would you call the doctor?

ok so i have tried googling this and all i find is that braxton hicks are uncomfortable for some and of course there are instructions on how many to have before ya call the doc. Which all of that - i understand. But my question is, do braxton hicks make if a lil hard to breathe? i can be relaxing, watching tv and my belly tighten up and get so hard it makes my eyes water and hard to breathe. are those two things normal? it is def not real labor. this been going on for a while now. i am 30 weeks today. also, i read to change positions but it doesnt matter. it still doesnt lighten up till its ready to go itself.

I'm 38 weeks now so being the baby is full term my doctor said I could pretty much have him any day now. My hospital is already 40 minutes away from my house and I'm wondering if I should chance a trip to my parents house 6 hours away for 4 days this weekend. I'm scared if I go down there and go into labor ill be stuck down there and be in a hospital with doctors I don't know and all that stuff. I have a copper IUD (ParaGuard) and I feel pregnant?

I had a ParaGuard copper IUD inserted the end of November of 2010. I have had no problems with it other than a normal increase in cramping and bleeding during menstruation. This month however I have completely missed my period. My last period was 5-6-11 and I have a 28 day cycle (my cycle has been an expected 28 days since the birth of my daughter three years ago).I had a few days were I noticed some pink tinged discharge when I went to the bathroom at the time my period would normally occur but I never actually started my period (I have excessively heavy periods). This week I have noticed pains in my breasts, kind of like cramping when your milk lets down while you're breastfeeding. My nipples also seem to be a bit more sensitive. I also noticed yesterday that I was experiencing a tightening in my uterus (the only way I can describe it was that it was a tightening like Braxton Hicks contractions) that came and went over the course of about an hour. Today I also feel slightly nauseous but not too bad. I can't buy another pregnancy test until I get paid on Thursday but wouldn't a positive result have shown up last week? It sounds to me like you are having back labor from the pains in your tailbone and lower back. I had horrible back labor and wasn't sure if I was in labor or not. The pain consisted for 4 days off and on and I went to the hospital 4 times before they finally told me I was in true labor bc I couldnt tell. I couldnt feel the labor pains in my uterus because they were so bad in my back. It sounds like you are getting ready to go into labor, time the back pains as you would regular contractions. I am currently 39 weeks pregnant with my first child and was dialated to a 3 for 2 weeksa nd then thursday they told me i was almost a 4. i was having consistent braxton hicks in my back for almost 2 weeks that ended wednesday, now as of today, my abdomen feels ilke i did a ton of sit ups, Im having weird discomfort down there that i cant explain, and ive been having what i think are contractions(basically feels like my stomach is an excercise resistant band and it is getting pulled) but they are not on a schedule. sometimes ill have one within 2 minutes of one, but then wont have another one for an hour or more. I have been nauseas all day, even when im just drinking water. My doctor thinks im stupid. he wont listen to me, wont give me direct answers, and wont listen to my concerns. ive tried to switch doctors but its to late in my pregnancy and ive been trying to switch doctors since my 28th week. Can someone give me advice on what to do with these symptons. i called the doctor and all he said is if the contractions become within 5 minutes apart to come in, but im nervous being dialted to a 4 for 5 days now. I DONT want to have this baby at home.

Yes, only because your flights do not connect and so you have to spend the night in KL. As your Travel agent to call Malaysia reservations or check the fare rules as it should be in the small print. I know this works out of and into Australia because of the connections however make sure your travel agent gets the vouchers you also have free transfers from the airport to the hotel and back. You do not however have a choice of hotel i also believe breakfast is included.

Okay so, for a long time now, i've been dieting and exercising along with it obviously. Btw im a 14 year old girl, and my height is 5'6... weight, ill get into that later..(you'll see). So now for my exercise, i recently started running the mile... i was starting with once a week, then i eventually started running it almost everyday(trying) with the weather being crappy, rain etc. , also my brother, was taking me to the high school track where i live and that kind of stopped between him working, not having time, and being busy most of the time. So that stopped so i started instead walking down to my school which is literally a 6 minute walk away and running around the field 4 times or either the school(got sick of the field so just recently started running the school) which is a mile cause i did in gym class. I think this whole week, ever since monday, i've ran it everyday. i don't even know how to tell you my weigh and if its water or fat, it sucks! im either 157, 162,163,164,or 165. i was 163 last night, started out with 162 this morning, and now im 165! Ever since february, my doctor's appointment, i was 168, and i haven't seen that weight in a while so i think ive lost that.. i was told that i was not fat, but basically overweight for my age. I started cutting back little by little at that time, and it was hard for me so i stopped,(which i REALLY wish i didn't have) and started eating again, however somehow maintaining that weight(i forget howw) then it got easier in march, i figured out more ways, obviously april, and may... and i forget when but like i said i started running the mile little by little and now. So, my question is losing weight.. like more than 10.. but i actually think i know why this hasn't been going well is because the main reason, my dieting. It's been HORRIBLE and sooo hard for me. Between these awful cravings(my mom thinks im a sugar addict) and not being able to control it whatso ever. and the fact that i haven't been losing any weight, as much as i want to in this amount of time that im starting to give up then start up back again which is taking me incredibly soooo much amount of time than what i want it to. the beginning of today was going good for me, i was thinking about running the mile twice, but im soo tired and i just recently got a pain on the top of my leg, bottom, and it feels like a bruise and hurts running... there always has to be some freaking problem making it even HAAARDER for me! ugh! sorry.. the end of today though, not so good. i skipped dinner, thinking i would lose more, but it ended up backfiring me from being sooo hungry for the rest of the night. i did eat watermelon and a banana for dinner. but so farr ive aten 2 yogurts, two ice cream sandwhiches, ice cream, chips, i think maybe even a little bit more but yeah.... :( then i got really mad and started doing pushups and everything. i weighted myself, i was back at 165 and i totally gave up and started eating more but now, its stopped as i speak. My plan was to lose like all the extra fat off of me, so i could be skinny or thin again like 15-20 pounds before atleast summer, then it extended to 4th of july so i could be able to enjoy the food and wear nice clothing and look good and feel confident but now, 4th of july is just around the corner(3 days) and i have a party im attending and its not going to go well unless you could just magically lose 20 pounds in 3 days... maybe even just 10.... also, forget to mention, but my mom did say she has noticed a bloatyness i had on my face off and i look a bit less bloaty kind of that small layer of fat off if you know what i mean.... i dont get how that can happen when i was 168, 3 pounds more(well, depends if im still 165, never know with me i could go back down or whatever ugh) but that i dont get.. soooo.... PLEASE HELP ME!!! im legit so upset i could cry, and angry at myself, i wish i could just keep on running right now and do every exercise there is. so please help and i hope you understood me well. thanks~

30 weeks and some contractions every day, does this happen to you?

It started at 29 weeks but I have contractions like almost everyday some with pain and some that are just braxton hicks. I went to the doctor last week and he says at this point in pregnancy it's normal to feel these. I just think it's so weird that I have them everyday. Should I have called my doctor?

Last night, I was watching TV and being 28 weeks pregnant, had to interrupt the TV to take a pee break. Everything went normal except that when I wiped the toilet paper was tinged pink. About 30 minutes later, I began having these little cramps (felt worse than Braxton Hicks) that never amounted to anything. Now, the pink discharge never came back and the cramps are almost completely gone this morning. My question is whether I should still call my doctor to let them know know what happened last night.

Preterm labor at 29 weeks?

I'm hoping someone can help....i'm 29 weeks along and over the weekend started having menstrual like cramps that wouldnt let up. Also was having frequent braxton hicks. Went to l&d and found out i was contracting every 3 min and was dilated 1 cm. They gave me 4 shots of terbutaline to slow contractions and took blood and urine samples. Said i wasnt dehydrated and no bladder infection so they didnt know what was causing contractions. Let me go home after 3 hours because cervix wasnt changing. Also said i had microscopic blood in urine but never said why. Went to see my doc monday and he wanted to start me on an antibiotic because he said the main cause of blood in urine is a bladder infection even tho at thehospital they said i didnt have one. Im still feeling crampy and having frequent, but painless contractions. They are always worse in the evening. My doctor didnt even check my cervix when i went in on monday, just said to come back in a week if im still contracting. What could be going on?

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and everytime my husband have sex afterwards I get really sharp stomach pains. Im not sure if it's just braxton hicks after or what but it doesn't hurt as bad on my sides. If I lay straight or walk my stomach tightens. It can go on for hours. It makes it hard to pee or anything after and hurts. Is it normal or harmful for baby?

40 weeks, lost bloody show last night, having braxton hicks 3-6 min apart?!?!?

I'm exactly 2 days from my due date, I lost my "bloody show" last night, about 13 hours ago. And I woke up about an hour ago and I've been having tightening every 3-7 minutes. They arent' painful(maybe a teeny bit) but my stomach gets tight and kinda looks/feels distorted when it tightens. I called the hospital and they said call my OB. What would you do? Does this sound like labor, maybe false labor? Just braxton hicks?

This must be a difficult time for both of you! I don't have two, but I have several friends who were in your situation. The best things they did were to come up with fun activities their toddler could do at home. Maybe it was painting or molding clay or having an indoor picnic, watching a movie together, making cookies or paying a simple board game. They also asked friends or family to take their toddler to the park or playground, somewhere they couldn't manage when pregnant so he could get some energy out. The trick is to find activities that you can do that he will enjoy. Good luck!

Staying at the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, what do I take to go to the Kuala Lumpur city center?

There is a hop on hop off bus that does a circle around the City Centre. The ticket lasts for 24 hours so if you bought it at 11am then you can use it the next day until 11am. Well worth it. It stops at all the interesting places and runs each half hour so if you want a couple of hours around petrona towers then when you are ready just hop on the next Hop on hop off bus. It takes over an hour to do the circuit and you get a map of stopping places such as Little india or the gardens etc.

37 weeks and pains in abdomen?

It's my first baby and for about an hour today I was getting pains in on and off...they felt like they could be contractions but I went and had a shower and they went.Today I was sitting an exam and started feeling really dizzy like I would faint and I started going delirious and was shaking and went kind of cold...but it subsided after a while...Could this be like the start of labour? I know it's not really labour until I have regular contractions but does this mean it could start in a few days? A few years ago I was driving across the US when I stopped at a tiny place in Missouri for lunch. I ordered a bacon, turkey and tomato sandwich from a waitress that was either a mute or didn't speak English. The sandwich came with a side of chips that were stale. I bit into the sandwich after deciding against the chips to have my mouth filled with what tasted like vomit. The tomato was rancid. I spat it out looked at the waitress, realizing there was no recourse for me to take with her I left a $10 on the counter and walked out. 1999 monte carlo suddenly wont turn over?

i have a 1999 monte carlo and have never had a problem with it. today i got my new car subwoofer amp in the mail so i decided to go and hook it up. i got all the wires run and the negative wire grouded out and everything. the last part was the positive wire. i went to undo the bolt which is actually on the fuse panel/box but it was rusty and wouldent come loose so i figured i run down to walmart and grab some wd40 but when i went to start the car nothing happened. all of the lights come on and all accesories work but no turning over at all. the starter motor does not make any sound at all. the only noise to be heard is a click in the fuse box and a louder click towards the rear of the engine after i let go of the key. i kept trying and after 30 tries it finnaly started. i let it run for a few minutes, shut it off and tried again and once again wont turn over. so far i have removed battery terminals and done a quick cleaning nothing crazy. and no difference so far. also one thing i find weird is that behind the bottom dash panel is a small led that im pretty shure ws installed by the previos owner. it has a black and red wire and a resistor and the led is flashing. i have no idea what this is. also the security light has been on since i have had the car and i have a spare key with no chip that works so i think the passcode system has aready been bypassed. before i take the car the garage i need some feedback just in case its anything i can do. as said before i have never ever had a problem with the car starting before.

I lost my mucus plug 5 weeks before I went into labor. It is only a sign that your cervix is ripening and is starting to open. Not that labor is about to begin. But with you being 40 weeks it gonna happen very soon anyways.

False labour pains giving me grief.. please help?

I have been having 'false labour' or braxton hicks for the last week - apart from the disappointment of the labours not giving me my long awaited baby, I have the added difficulties of not being able to rest up properly making me concerned that I won't be up for the real labour when it finally arrives. The 'false labours' start EVERY time I sit or lie down and stop when I'm up and moving around. Advice on baby born at 37 weeks opposed to 40?

I have a question I am 37 weeks pregnant and am almost completely unable to walk. I suffer from S.P.D which is when the pubic bones soften and rub together with movement. My back is now thrown out which I am not sure yet what caused it but I do think I am having Braxton Hicks in my back. I am in so much pain. I want to talk to my doctor about all this and look at my options. I am fully willing to go until 40+ weeks without induction if that is what is best for my baby. I just want some opinions from mothers. If my doctor wants to induce me I was going to request checking the baby's size and if possible the lungs to insure he is ok to be born. I don't know what to do I will not be induced no matter how much pain I am in if it will risk my sons health. But am I taking a risk if I am induced at 37 weeks? If I wait would your recommend waiting until after 40 weeks or before in 38 or 39 weeks to agree to induce? I feel so guilty for even considering induction. I feel like a bad mother so please be kind. I am in more pain then I can ever remember being and that is the only reason why I am taking it into consideration.

I got this jar of salsa conqueso cheese dip from the store but I want to pour the cheese on top of the chips and melt it together without burning the chips and everything. What is the best way to do this? I usually just dip the chips in the cheese, but sometimes at concerts or movie theatres when you get nachos and cheese and ask for extra cheese, the concession worker will dump all the cheese over top of the chips, and they kind of melt together, and at gas stations that have nachos and cheese when you pour the cheese on top the cheese and the chips gets perfectly stuck together. Im an 18 year old 6'1 210lb male with hardly any muscle, my normal diet is pretty simple, junk, i drink nothing but soda, about a 24 pack of coke every 2 days, as far as food is concerned i eat things like corn-dogs and microwave burritos for dinner, i work third shift so its hard to plan meals as my girlfriend works days, most of the time i grab what i can, when im at work for lunch i buy 2 Monster energy drinks because the last few years i don't get very good sleep and don't have much energy, and its paired with things like chocolate chip cookies and Doritos i really need some help ive looked online but most things i found are either expensive, hard to cook because i don't know how and my schedule conflicts, or its not something i can just buy outright at lunch time at work, i work in Wal-mart so i have some options but im not sure what to get, now that ive covered food my lifestyle also comes into play, just about every night that im off work or when i get home in the morning i sit down and play video-games or mess around on the computer until i go to sleep, so other than work which im constantly walking and lifting(im a stocker) i don't get much exercise, and to make matters worse im a longtime smoker i used to smoke up to 2 packs a day but have cut down in the last year to a little over half a pack a day, please any help with advice on exercise, food or drinks, how to get my better sleep and energy back, I don't know if anyone can help with the smoking but ill throw that in as well, it would be greatly appreciated

Will i be going into labor any time now?

Well, a week before I went into labour I started getting false labour. That's when you have on and off real contractions, but nothing really happens. I was in the hospital every other night thinking I was in real labour but I wasn't until a week after it all started. The day I had a membrane sweep, my contractions got worse and worse and I lost my mucous plug. Gross... Hahaha it was like, bloody snot. Then after I lost it I had SUPER shap pains in my crotch, I could barely walk. So it seems like it's getting close.

Should I be concerned?

I'm 33 weeks pregnant based off my last period(I'm pretty positive I'm at least 35.) The midwives keep commenting how big the baby is when they measure him at my appointments. Everyone keeps saying how big my belly is already too. (his head is also in position) I've been having braxton hicks contractions occasionally during the day when bending over, etc. The night before last I had three extremely painful contractions within a 15 min period while lying down in bed that almost made me want to go to the doctor just to check but they seemed to stop. My midwife said not to worry about the contractions if they stopped. Now all yesterday and today, I threw up once and I've been having bad stomach pains and diarrhea. I just want to make sure I'm not going into premature labor or if I should be concerned. This is my first baby, I'm due Aug 10th and the midwives aren't being very helpful when I ask them things because I haven't reached 35 wks yet

I took him to 6 different professionals to test him for behavior disorders including ADHD, HDD, Autism, Bipolar, personality disorders such as Psychopathy, etc and they all said he has nothing. I also got him tested for allergies and he had nothing. He refuses to eat healthy food no matter how many times I place him in time out. I have to feed him potato chips and cheese doodles because I don't want to starve him. He will not do his homework. One Sunday 8:56 AM, I asked him to make his bed and he refused so I put him in the naughty chair like Supernanny does and he kept getting up till past 7:00 PM. This has been going on since he as a toddler. When he was 1 and I did not want to give him what he wanted to eat, he would eat toothpaste, dust, etc. He had severe separation anxiety when he was an infant. He says he wants to do what he wants and will never listen to me. I also have a 14 year old son and a 10 year old daughter and non of them were like that.

36 weeks pregnant, lost mucus.?

So about 3 weeks ago I went to the doctor and was dilated a fingertip. I had lots of braxton hicks the next couple weeks and at my next check up I was 1 cm. The baby dropped and she could feel the head and said my cervix had thinned. I've had more bhc and menstrual cramps. I am 36 weeks today and lost 2 chunks of what looked like snot the size of quarters. No blood in it. Is that my mucus plug? And if so how big is it supposed to be? Wondering if I just lost a part of it. How long after loosing ur mucus plug did you go into labor? I have had a preterm labor 5 years ago at 5 months and a half so I've never went through this before.

I have a tightening feeling in my stomach and the pain is in my lower stomach like period cramps but i can feel it near my belly button and in my back and upper thighs. 16 weeks bloody mucus fell in toilet?

I havent been cramping my stomach just feels a little sore from growing i assume. I went to the bathroom and noticed a long stringy bloody mucus in the toilet.. It had somewhat of a brown tent but mostly a pale red... I'm nervous and i've called the OBGYN and they said go to the ER if it gets worse... Is this normal at 16 weeks.. What does "Bloody Show" Look like in early labor?

I am 40 Weeks and 5 Days Overdue, This morning I had a braxton hicks contraction and i felt a little gush come out, when i went to look when i went to the bathroom and it looked like a gush of blood almost like on your period but it filled up the whole center of my panty liner. Ive been reading online that a bloody show is more like mucous with a tinged blood color but mine was like period blood, im not bleeding like that anymore was just that time but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced blood like that, and if that means im in the early stage of labor. I am contacting every 10 to 15 minutes but its irregular as of right now. Called my dr.s office all i got was the nurse they said it was probably just my bloody show to start timing my contractions. Okay so i turned 36 weeks today and had my doctors appointment, she didnt check my cervix this time but the last time i was checked i was 50% and 1 1/2 cm dilated. I'm a few days from my due date. I've been one of those women who has dealt with prodromal labor for the last 4 weeks. Mostly the contractions that I have felt have been like painful braxton hicks. I woke up early this morning feeling cramping from my back around to the front of my belly. They were 7 mins a part for about 2 hours and for the most part HURT to the point I couldn't talk. I was somehow able to go back to sleep. I've just woken up and my body feels crazy. I feel like something has definitely changed in there. Loads of pressure and just an uneasiness.... I lost a little of my mucus plug a few weeks back. My Dr. is old school and doesn't check me, but when I went to the hospital about 2+ weeks ago thinking I was in labor, the nurse said I was 1.5 cm and 50% effaced. She also said the baby was at -2 station...but I think the baby moves a lot. He/She certainly feels VERY low right now. This is my second baby, by the way. I never had any this with my first. She was a week late with no signs of labor at all. I was induced. So what is going on with my body! I'm so confused between false and real labor. I know that if it's real labor then the contractions are consistant. I just can't get over how painful these last ones were and how they can just stop themselves. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have gon on a diet...and i plan to lose 60 pounds. so far i've lost 22 and i try to eat healthy and exercise. I usually eat junk food 1 to 2 days a week but there's always a time a least once a month or two where i crave the junk food a lot and start eating them at least 5 or 6 days for that week and then start on my usual 1 to 2 days the next week. is this good for my diet? i don't really want to stop eating junk food completely because after a while i'll end up giving in and ruining my diet.

I am 23 weeks pregnant and I know its about time i feel braxton hicks contractions but i want to explain what i am feeling. Today i doubled over in pain twice for about 5 minutes. I sat in the hall way for a few minutes and let the pain slowly fade it brought tears to my eyes. The pain was down under my left hip bone and went down through my thigh a little, I thought it was my ovaries causing the pain but i don't think so now. Later on that day I felt the same pain but not as intense on my right side passed my ovary and down my thigh a little, same as the left earlier that day. Honestly i think my baby may have kicked me or pulled or tugged on something because she does sit pretty low sometimes and hours before that pain i did feel her pretty low on the right side. Other then that i have just felt minor achs and pains gradually through out the day. Some i didn't really notice and others really caught me off gaurd. I was just sitting on the couch feeling fine and had a sharp pain "down there" It was sort of a stinging pain and happend 3 times in a row then stopped. Now i am just cramping a little. I feel fine, I can walk around fine and im not in alot of pain but i have been feeling pain alot today and it even goes down through my thighs and when it's in my pelvic area it feels like mild or soft cramps... Other then this pain it has been a pretty normal day i have went about it doing what i usually do with no problems. This has been going on for about four days now and I will say today has been the most active intense pain. My appointment is on the 27th of this month but i am wondeirng if i should go ahead and call my doctor? When do i need to worry?

Canker sores after tooth extracted?

I had my second to last top molar pulled the other day due to root resorption. I am scheduled for an implant in 2 weeks. It didn't hurt one bit. The next morning I was a little swollen, and there was a little pain where the noNovocaineas injected, but nothing bad. Now, today, the 3rd day, I have this horrible pain, but its not from where the tooth was pulled...I developed these canker sores on the tops of my gums above where the tooth was pulled, but not right next to the extraction site, at the very top of my gums, where it joins my cheek, and there's about 2 or 3 of them. I get them every now and them from trauma to my gums (like if I slip brushing, or stab myself with something I eat-like potato chips, etc) But that's not the case here...I think maybe the dentist's instruments may have done this? They didnt mention that they slipped or that I would develop canker sores. It hurts really bad...but not from the extraction. Is this normal, and what can I do to help them heal faster?

It could be but its most likely not. My baby was engaged at 31 weeks and I had excruciating b/h from 28 weeks and started to lose my plug at 30 weeks. It all sounds pretty normal though I wouldn't be at all worried.

I am 34 weeks and 3 days pregnant. 2 weeks ago, I went to my gyno apt. I was having bad braxton hicks contractions so she checked my cervix and said I was dilated ' the tip of her finger'. I had bad braxton hicks again later on in the 2 weeks. Went for my apt yesterday and she checked my cervix again, told me I was 1 cm and that it wasn't as thick. She said that my cervix changed quickly. She told me to go on bed rest for 2 weeks hoping I won't go into labor before. I have lost a baby at 22 weeks and 1 at 10 weeks. Since yesterday I have what feels like bad menstrual cramps and I get diarrhea on and off. The way she was talking, she doesn't think I'll get to my due date and hoping for 2 more weeks. Does having diarrhea and menstrual cramps make you dilate more? Could I be going into early labor soon or is it possible that I could get to 40 weeks? I have pressure down there and need to pee a lot more too. I never experienced that with my other pregnancies because I didn't get this far. Any thoughts?

Teen Health Advise Needed!!!!?

The normal stereotype for teenagers is... sit on your butt all day... eat burgers and fries for every meal... drink soda... milkshakes... all you do is play xbox or go on facebook... but I'm not one of those and I feel like I'm insanely huge! I'm a fourteen year old girl, 5'11, and weigh somewhere between 151 and 155. I NEVER drink soda, never eat out, never eat fries or burgers, never have milkshakes, but I cannot lose weight. My problem is sneaking bites of things. Like the peanut butter jar will be left out and I'll take a spoon and take some on it and eat it, then crave some more and eat some more of it. I eat a healthy breakfast every morning. Or perhaps chocolate chips will be out I'll eat a handful here and then 20 minutes later do it again! I need to break my habits because it's starting to show in my hair and skin health. I don't want to be fat anymore please help!

The past 2-3 days I have had some painful 5min apart braxton hick contractions, I have been nauseated and threw up this morning. My baby girl is still moving around, but sometimes my cervix area gets these painful stings. My due date is in 5 days, but something tells me she might be here sooner. I also was told at the doctors office that if I pass a light brown or pinkish color, that i am dilating. Well then I guess the past 2 days I dilated. Braxton hicks,cramps, backache and constipation (21 weeks)?

I'm 21 weeks and this is my first pregnancy so everything freaks me out. I have been constipated with VERY little relief for about a week now so im sure that's what the backaches and cramps are from. Does constipation cause more frequent braxton hicks? I am not really worried at this point as i'm only having about 2 or 3 an hour and they seem to be going away since I chugged 3 glasses of water and sat down. The backache isn't going away. I plan on taking some colace tonight and If I still feel uncomfortable in the morning I will call but until then, I would love some opinions!
