Drinking age at Malaysia, Help please :)?

Ok, so im planning to go for a trip to Malaysia in September, and obviously besides sightseeing etc, I want to go party as well. Just one thing concerns me, I am 20 years old and will be 21 this same year but not around the time I will be in Malaysia. Me and some friends will go to Kuala Lumpur, and no we are not muslim or chinese, etc (since there are some restrictions for certain religions). Can someone please help me out, I do not want to break any laws lol ty for your help :)
