I am 34 weeks pregnant and I am having some pains...?

The last time i went to the hopital I was told i had dialated to 2cm and to take it slow and rest. I been having needle pain in my abdomen and my tail bone that is very annoying and painful. I won't get to see my doc for another 2 weeks and im afraid i could be dialating some more. Can this just be because of the baby positioning or braxton hicks? because i never felt these pains with my first child.
