If i eat chips for 5 days on one week and dont eat any the next week, will i still lose weight?

I have gon on a diet...and i plan to lose 60 pounds. so far i've lost 22 and i try to eat healthy and exercise. I usually eat junk food 1 to 2 days a week but there's always a time a least once a month or two where i crave the junk food a lot and start eating them at least 5 or 6 days for that week and then start on my usual 1 to 2 days the next week. is this good for my diet? i don't really want to stop eating junk food completely because after a while i'll end up giving in and ruining my diet.
