Need advice finding a programmer job to relocate in Malaysia for few years?

I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and I have been working in New York City for about 5 years as programmer. I am thinking about moving to Kuala Lumpur for a few years for family issue. I like to do some research on whether it is worth to do the move. Any information on the jobs market, salary, etc. will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
