34 weeks pregnant, 1 cm dilated.?

I am 34 weeks and 3 days pregnant. 2 weeks ago, I went to my gyno apt. I was having bad braxton hicks contractions so she checked my cervix and said I was dilated ' the tip of her finger'. I had bad braxton hicks again later on in the 2 weeks. Went for my apt yesterday and she checked my cervix again, told me I was 1 cm and that it wasn't as thick. She said that my cervix changed quickly. She told me to go on bed rest for 2 weeks hoping I won't go into labor before. I have lost a baby at 22 weeks and 1 at 10 weeks. Since yesterday I have what feels like bad menstrual cramps and I get diarrhea on and off. The way she was talking, she doesn't think I'll get to my due date and hoping for 2 more weeks. Does having diarrhea and menstrual cramps make you dilate more? Could I be going into early labor soon or is it possible that I could get to 40 weeks? I have pressure down there and need to pee a lot more too. I never experienced that with my other pregnancies because I didn't get this far. Any thoughts?
